 This is the world of large scale model railways - a world where steam engines can be real steam, where wheels really go clickety-clack over the rail joints and you feel as though you are in charge of a real train.

Since the early eighties, Brandbright have specialised in supplying and manufacturing 16mm to the foot scale narrow gauge model railway equipment. To meet demand, the range additionally includes G scale and the standard gauge - Gauge 3. Whatever your needs, Brandbright provides a friendly and reliable service to `garden-sized' modellers world-wide. The factory, a former village school, is totally dedicated - along with it's staff - to garden sized railways. Visitors are welcome during factory hours, however, if travelling a long distance, please 'phone to ensure that appropriate staff will be available. We do not operate as a shop. Being garden railway enthusiasts ourselves, we appreciate the modellers requirements, and try to fulfil these, rather than hard sell inappropriate equipment.

This www site contains our complete 16mm scale, Gauge 3 and its narrow gauge version (G scale) - a range which is constantly expanding!

For garden sized narrow gauge, the normally used track gauges are 32mm and 45mm, which correspond to Gauge 0 and Gauge 1. There is great compatibility between 16mm scale, G scale and Gauge 3.
