With this system the flat bottom rail AG212 is pinned to wooden sleepers with flat headed brass pins to represent the spikes. Sleepers are supplied with the pins in place for the rail to slide through so no gauging is required. With the rail in place the pins may require tapping in with a light hammer and punch to hold the rail more securely.

As an alternative to the pinned sleepers, the AG250 fixing clips may be used with flat bottomed rail and the WS1 or WS11 wooden sleepers.
